Project Overview:
Hilux Media approached me to bring their client’s podcast brand “Ondernemend” to life online. The project involved developing a fully functional WordPress site using Breakdance Builder, based on an existing visual design. My role was to faithfully implement that design while also enhancing the user journey wherever possible.
Challenge:
While the client already had a strong design in place, they needed someone who could not only execute it accurately but also offer expert input on how to improve functionality, layout flow, and responsiveness. It was a fine balance—honoring the original design while elevating its usability.
Solution:
Using Breakdance Builder on WordPress, I developed the site to reflect the client’s vision while suggesting design tweaks that improved navigation and mobile performance. The end result was a site that stayed true to the aesthetic but felt more intuitive and user-friendly, especially on smaller screens.
